Towards the end of the recording, at the last stop (34th street–hudson yards), there is mta thank you announcement at the station and for all passengers to alight - i have extracted this announcement as a separate audio download on freesound if that's the sound clip you're interested in!. Very empty metro station in parisannouncements are done and very few people walking by, escalator is stopping at a certain pointn. B. This is a binaural recording with my okm soundman microphones placed inside my ears, so for headphone use only (for best results).

As part of my sounds collection i pulled my iphone at the london tube and recorded it while standing inside the cart. The recording is from the second i left a station until we got to the next one (including an opening doors). No process was done.

Travelling from prospect park to parkside station in flatbush, brooklyn. Train is almost empty, no passengers talking. Audio starts in the car, announcements are heard. Upon arrival at parkside, recording transitions to outside the train. It hisses and pulls away from station. Recorded with an iphone 11.

Switch flip #2. Modify/use however you want. Recorded with a zoom h4n using built-in stereo mics. Edited & processed with fl studio 11 & edison. Recorded at an inactive ski-lift. Technically the original sound was not a switch, it was a rain-proof cover on a power outlet. I layered three different snare drum takes to achieve this one. All three of those takes are from a ludwig black beauty. I did a close, stereo overhead, and stereo room mic configuration. It's me jamming a bit using my epiphone's explorer (tuned to drop-d). Recorded with a zoom h2 via mic-in and a jack cable. Unprocessed an undedited recording. I tried out some licks and chords. I'm not a good guitarist. Nevetheless, this might be a nice recording if you're making an animation about learning musician, or a game with a band member rehearsing alone in a room, or if you want to just chill to my little jam session. This should be mono, but i calculated the difference between left and right channel and it is not zero. So i uploaded it as a stereo file. Could use some denoising. There is some silence at the beginning so you can do that if you need.

N train intensely approaches elevated station in astoria nyc on a cold winter night. Doors open, people leave, ambient quiet of the city, doors close, train departs.

A recording of an entire journey on the london underground (jubilee line) but could pass as any subway/metro if you remove the train announcements. The recording begins at the top of escalators, travels to the platform, boards the train, then covers the whole journey, getting out of the train, and ascending the escalators at the other end.

Construction work outside my house at night. You can hear some drilling and hammering and different construction tools as well as some men talking and cars passing by. Recorded with my iphone 11 mic.
